This cast iron wall plaque features the emblem of AJS Matchless, a British motorcycle brand with an interesting history. AJS and Matchless traded as separate businesses in the early 1900's, before an amalgamation under the parent company Associated Motor Cycles in 1938. This circular cast iron garage plaque features a combination logo – the winged "M" representing Matchless and AJS being represented by the white lettered motif. The sign is carefully finished in handpainted black, yellow, red and white and comes with two pre-drilled holes for easy mounting.
