This cast iron railway sign is a must for any fan of the famous "Flying Scotsman" railway service. The service, which connects the capital cities of London and Edinburgh, began in 1862 and took on the Flying Scotsman name in 1924. Fans of railwayana will also know that the service was the first locomotive in the UK to achieve a speed of 100 mph, doing so in 1934. This curved sign is finished in sleek black, with contrast white lettering and edging (black & gold verion here). Four predrilled holes make it easy to mount on the wall of your choice.
